hey there, I'm not sure if you are new to the server or not, but it's best you read the server rules before playing. In this screenshot it shows that scamming and death trapping in fact is allowed on the prison and factions subservers. As for your experience on kit PvP, I recommend joining the community discord, that way if you come across a hacker, you can use the #support channel and @staffmember to tell them. It's a super fast way to get hackers dealt with. This post here is a forum post I created quite a while ago which I'm sure will be able to give you some helpful insight on how to avoid getting scammed.
